Raspadskaya says coal concentrate sales rise 11% in 2017
MOSCOW, Jan 25 (PRIME) -- Sales of coal concentrate of Russian coal producer Raspadskaya rose 11% on the year to 6.888 million tonnes in 2017, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Export sales went up 25% to 4.537 million tonnes, while domestic sales fell 8% to 2.351 million tonnes.
Previously, Raspadskaya’s parent company Evraz said that the coal producer raised its coking coal production by 8.8% on the year to 11.435 million tonnes in 2017, and by 10.5% on the quarter to 2.876 million tonnes in October–December 2017.
